Tuchel shares after losing in Carabao Cup
Following Roman Abramovich’s announcement that he was looking to sell the Blues after 19 years of ownership, Jim Ratcliffe has emerged as one of the possible takeovers of the west London club.

Ratcliffe is hesitant to buy Chelsea.
Ratcliffe bought a season ticket at Chelsea this year – despite being a Manchester United fan – and he has been named Britain’s richest man by Forbes magazine. The 69-year-old has built an estimated £20 billion fortune thanks to his multinational chemical company Ineos.
However, a spokesman for Ratcliffe confirmed to Reuters on Thursday that there was “no basis” to report that the billionaire was planning to buy Chelsea from Abramovich. They highlight Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge stadium as a major setback for the club.
Ratcliffe told BBC Five Live: ” There have been some early talks but we have a significant gap in valuation . The problem with Chelsea is their stadium. We all get older and you have to. took a decade to figure that out.”
On Wednesday, UFC star Conor McGregor announced he wants to “explore” the acquisition of The Blues. Swiss businessman Hansjorg Wyss also revealed that he received an offer to buy Chelsea from Abramovich.
While Abramovich hopes to sell Chelsea, it may depend on whether the British government decides to sanction him in the coming days, as the crisis in Ukraine unfolds.
