Roy Keane criticizes Man United’s attack

 The Old Trafford team delivered a disappointing performance when they met Middlesbrough in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Man United received a big shock in the fourth round of the FA Cup when they lost with a total score of 7-8 on penalties to Middlesbrough. The two teams drew 1-1 after 120 minutes of play before entering a series of 11 meters of luck. Jadon Sancho scored the opening goal after 25 minutes. Matt Crooks equalized 1-1 for Middlesbrough in the 64th minute.

On the penalty shootout, young talent Anthony Elanga missed the eighth kick, thereby causing Man United to lose to Middlesbrough. The away team successfully completed all 8 penalty shootouts. This is also the first time since 2012, the Red Devils received a defeat in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Former player Roy Keane thinks that the attack of wasting many delicious opportunities is a big reason for Man United to receive a shocking defeat. “Ralf Rangnick’s concerns have surfaced in the last few home games at Man United. They have only scored one goal against Middlesbrough ,” Keane told ITV Sport.

I’m talking about how Man United win every game. Unfortunately, they figure out how to lose. That’s not a good sign ,” said Keane.

Commenting on the young star Elanga’s performance, Keane said: “Elanga  missed a few good opportunities in the match. He is a player of the future. Missing the penalty will hurt him. love.”.
