Arteta praises Ramsdale
Coach Brendan Rodgers thinks Aaron Ramsdale is one of the best English goalkeepers at the moment, after his amazing saves against Leicester in both legs.

Arteta was full of praise for Ramsdale.
When asked about Rodgers’ comments during his press conference ahead of the clash with Liverpool, Mikel Arteta said: “First of all, thanks Brendan for thinking so!”
“I think Aaron has to hear those words to give him confidence and support for what he’s doing.”
“I’ve always said he’s been special since the day we signed him, not just on the pitch, but in what he conveys, what he brings to the club, fitness. It shows through his character and personality and that’s the type of guy we want to bring back to the club.”
Arteta also believes Ramsdale is benefiting from having so many young English players in the squad. “Definitely, and you can see the understanding and bond he has with one of them, ” added Arteta.
“The fact that they’ve known each other for so many years, that’s always helpful and it helps speed up the adaptation process because being at a new club is always a tough challenge.”
