Although not welcoming any new recruits, Arsenal still bid farewell to quite a few players in the winter transfer window. Notably, the Gunners are poised to allow a few other stars to leave the Emirates.

Arteta is ready to part with Nketiah.
In the context of the contract between the two sides with only 6 months remaining, Arsenal considered selling Eddie Nketiah. However, as revealed by journalist Dean Jones, one of the clubs interested in Nketiah, Crystal Palace, was unable to meet what the Gunners demanded for the striker.
Just Arsenal quotes the British journalist:
“It has been revealed to me that Palace has no money for Nketiah . I don’t know if that has changed, or that Palace has reassessed it. But I haven’t heard anything in the last 48 hours about it. that it has changed.”
“So I would be surprised if Palace signed him.”
In fact, despite facing the prospect of losing Nketiah at the end of the season, Arsenal have absolutely a reason to keep this star. In the context that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is very close to Barcelona, the Gunners will only have Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette left for the striker position if the Gabon striker really leaves.
Considering the current situation, the possibility of Arsenal successfully recruiting Dominic Calvert-Lewin or Alexander Isak in the ‘deadline day’ is also very low.
